Although Vanessa joined AW Health Care only a few months ago, she has already made a remarkable impact across our facilities. What began as a PRN position quickly grew into a full-time role as she demonstrated a strong commitment to both patient care and professional growth.
Vanessa consistently looks for ways to make a positive difference. One of her creative initiatives was introducing a “Question of the Day” on a dry-erase board at one of our facilities. This simple activity encourages patient engagement, sparks conversation, and helps create a welcoming environment where individuals feel connected and valued.
Her contributions extend far beyond daily patient interactions. Vanessa has become actively involved in CST, expanded her knowledge by learning Home Health, and is now taking the next step in her professional development by learning OASIS. Her eagerness to grow reflects the spirit of lifelong learning and excellence that helps AW Health Care deliver high-quality, person-centered care.
In addition to embracing new responsibilities, Vanessa has shown tremendous flexibility and teamwork. She has worked diligently to help grow the caseload, cover vacations, and balance the many demands that come with providing exceptional care. Her willingness to step up wherever needed demonstrates both leadership and a genuine commitment to supporting her colleagues and patients alike.
Team members like Vanessa remind us that great healthcare is about more than clinical expertise. It is about bringing energy, compassion, innovation, and dedication to every interaction. Her positive attitude and strong work ethic are helping patients achieve greater independence while strengthening the teams around her.
