AW Health Care has an immediate opening for a Full-Time Administrative Assistant supporting our Home Health Office in University City, MO.  The Administrative Assistant performs office/administrative tasks in support of service delivery to our Home Health patients.  Tasks can include faxing, answering phones, emails and serving as a general point of inquiry for staff, doctors offices, facilities and clients.

Qualified candidates will have/be:

• Previous experience in an office setting. Home Health experience is preferred.
• Average to Advanced computer skills, including word processing and data entry.
• A pro-active self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision.
• A team player dedicated to providing a high level of customer service, with a positive attitude.
• Able to communicate effectively and possess well developed interpersonal, organizational, and problem solving skills.
• The ability to effectively interact with all employees, clients and referral sources.

AW Health Care has an immediate opening for a full-time Medical Coder for our University Office.  This position may work remote or in the office as needed.

Candidates will have:

• An understanding of ICD-10 CM and CPT coding.
• The ability to work with various computer programs and databases.
• The ability to analyze various factors to make determinations about computer codes, direction and time restrictions, agency processes, policies and programs related to OASIS coding and assessments.
• An understanding of regulatory compliance for healthcare organizations.
• A basic knowledge regarding the requirements of Conditions of Participation related to the Home Health OASIS assessment coding.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school degree or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
• Certified Coder Specialist preferred
• Maintain coding certification and attends in-service training as required
• Two (2) years of ICD-10 CM coding experience, Home Health preferred
• Understanding of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology

AW Health Care has an immediate full-time opening for a Field Care Coordinator in our Maryville, Illinois office to assist with training and supervision of caregivers, client/employee advocacy, and related care management activities to ensure overall satisfaction of clients and caregivers. High School Diploma/GED, Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), and 2 years of Home Care experience is required. 1 year of supervisory experience is preferred.

The Field Care Coordinator will:

• Evaluate and train staff in the field to ensure competency of the employees for Home Care
• Assist with Caregiver training (Orientation, Skills Lab, and annual In-Services)
• Facilitate On-the-Job Training as needed
• Provide on-going education, supervision, and training of the Caregivers in the field
• Identify high risk factors, barriers to goals, and strengths that will assist the client and caregivers in achieving goals
• Assist with the assignment and scheduling of field staff to provide care and services for Home Care
• Rotate on-call responsibilities with other members of management
• Provide support for on-call staff, evenings and weekends, as needed
• Cover shifts, in the event of staffing shortage, with direction of management
• Assist with office-related tasks, as well as ensuring accurate opening packets are available with an adequate supply for each week
